Tokyo Replay Center

The building is a leisure center for doing karaoke, watching live bands, and playing video games.  The center needed to have a vast range of spaces available for rent by the customers.  From a private room for two to large spaces for a band to perform.  We assigned different geometry to the room types as well as the support program of dining and retail and let the forms fill the volume of the site.  These geometries oscillate from fractured and faceted to smooth and bubbly.  We carved out private rooms in the poche and allowed for circulation and public spaces to flow between.  This three dimensional geometry also allows for these conflicting forms to combine with a pop color strategy to render these multiple spaces visible on the exterior providing a fun identity for the center.
