The Space Between is a series of temporary PVC framed structures clothed in a soft outdoor fabric. The tents are able to orient in several ways to allow for their configuration to change over time. They nestle together with shared moments of geometry and also speak to one another through their posture when pulled apart. The interior of the tent is an oasis spilled out onto the landscape that shimmers in its glittered materiality. Appearances of the tents dynamically shift as one moves through the park and around them. Some sides appear solid and give no hint to the interiority while others begin to smear out the interior material leading the eye of the visitor to the openings. The tumbling tents beckon across the field drawing people into their world.
